From Rebekah: Claire and Patrick had tremendous characters, they had both graduated from the US Naval Academy a few days before the wedding and were planning to be transferred to Florida right after their honeymoon. It was amazing to see how much work Claire did to still make the day feel like them – relaxed, dignified, and loved.
The details were a casual summer feel, and for their portraits we had special permission to use the Superintendent’s Garden next to the USNA Chapel. The reception was held at Old South Country Club, a gorgeous setting deep in the woods of Maryland. They had a spacious back porch where a tent housed the evening, and you couldn’t help but sit in quiet awe as generations of military servicemen toasted the happy couple.
