There are some photographers that stop me in my tracks. It doesn’t matter who or what they photograph I love every single image. And I love the fact I get to share their talent with the world.
When I first looked at Cori and Ben’s engagement photos I fell in love. I fell in love with them and their story and it had me wanting more. Today’s beautiful submission comes from the very talented Ewan Phelan of The Last Forty Percent Photography.
Here’s what Brianna had to say about Cori and Ben:
Cori didn’t get just one proposal. She got 15. And every single one was perfect.
The day that Ben picked up the ring he couldn’t wait. Not even a minute longer. He was so excited that he considering running all the way to Cori. He would have flown if he could. But sprouting wings wasn’t exactly an easy task. So he called her at work and said she’d forgotten something at home. Told her she had to leave at once. Right this minute. Not sure what was going on, and worried that maybe she’d left the stove on, Cori rushed out of the building, heading home. But as soon as she opened the front doors, there was Ben. In the parking lot. With their dog. And a ring. On one knee. Proposal number one.
Maybe not as he had always dreamed, Ben wanted to make it up to Cori that he asked her to marry him in a parking lot. But she loved it. Everything about it. Wouldn’t change a thing. Yet still, Ben wanted to do something extra special. They had a trip to Cuba booked for two weeks later and he knew this was his chance. Every day on their trip Ben proposed again. And again. Always in a different spot. Always in a different way. On the beach at sunset. On a catamaran in the middle of the Ocean. While walking the streets of a little town. 15 proposals total. All perfect in every way. And every single one ending with Cori excitedly saying yes.
