Real Boise Wedding: Jenny & Patrick

From the photographer, Crissie McDowell Photography: She came from Idaho, he came from Georgia and they met in California. The first time I met Jenny she was a little ray of sunshine. And she beamed even MORE when she talked about Patrick. She couldn’t stop smiling just thinking about him. They now live in Georgia but came to Jenny’s hometown of Boise, ID to get married in her beautiful childhood cathedral.

Before the wedding the couple got ready in separate suites downtown overlooking the city on a very cold and rainy day. They exchanged gifts and were shuttled to the church by Trolley. Patrick’s family is from Scotland so the bride hired a bagpipe player to surprise him during the ceremony.

After the beautiful ceremony the clouds cleared and the guests were all taken to the Boise Train Depot by a red Trolley. Guests of the bride and groom enjoyed cocktail hour on the patio overlooking downtown Boise. Inside the details were impeccable. Beautiful hand-sewn pillows and table-runners added splashes of coral inside the old train station. A delicious Idaho and Georgian cuisine was served for dinner and instead of a cake the couple opted for a delicious shortcake bar.
