From their photographer Brittany Weiss of B. Weiss Photography: Kasey and Michael met in college at Texas Tech working in the Visitor’s Center. As Michael says as Kasey rolls her eyes, Kasey was smitten over his good looks and charm. They moved up to Alaska after college where Michael works as an Engineer and they are planning their Texas wedding for next May.
Since Alaska is now a special part of their love story, it only made sense to have Engagement Photos taken in Anchorage. They chose Beluga Point, a common pull-off of the Seward Highway known for amazing sunsets, Alpenglow views of the mountains and spotting vantage point for migrating Beluga whales between August and September. Kasey never failed to giggle at Michael’s bold kisses and hugs, which made for a romantic evening full of laughter and love.
