Everybody wants to make their wedding extra special. The fact is, there are simply hundreds of things you can do to do just that! This post would be far too long if we listed all of them, but the following 8 things are lovely ideas:
A Globe Guestbook
A globe guestbook is a great idea. It’s unique, and this way you can display it in your home and people can see all of the lovely things that were written on your big day. With a guestbook, it isn’t usually safe to display it, as dust can accumulate and things can get knocked over/spilled. You don’t have to worry about any of that with a globe!
Creative Place Cards
For your place cards, simply use your imagination. Depending on your personality, you can have any kind of place card you like. How about gold spraypainted leaves with names painted on? You could even have small brown bags with a guest’s name on, holding a small gift inside. This could even be a celebratory beer for everybody to enjoy together! Luxury Transport
Luxury transport always sets the scene for a lovely wedding, and looks great in photographs. You can look at limousine hire, or you could hire a nice car to arrive in – it’s up to you! Choose the mode of transport that best suits your personalities as a couple.
Mini Canopies
Mini canopies are the perfect thing to serve after a wedding, right before the sit down meal. At this point, everybody can have a drink and discuss how they think the ceremony went while getting to know each other. Mini canopies can include things like mini fish and chips, and deep fried cheese.
A Fun Photo Booth
A photo booth in the room will give everybody a something fun to take home with them. Photo booths like this usually come with props, so you can end up with some hilarious photographs of yourselves and wedding guests.
Free Booze
I know free booze can be expensive, but that’s something the guests will tell you can definitely make a wedding extra special. You don’t have to have a free bar all night; how about a few free refills after the ceremony, and a couple of bottles of wine on each table? The guests are sure to love this!
Games
Let’s face it: not everybody likes to dance. Some people find it cripplingly embarrassing, and would rather stay seated. You don’t want to make those people feel uncomfortable or bored, so why not have some fun games on the tables with a note that people who don’t want to party should play.
Song Requests
When you send out your wedding RSVP’s, include a line along the bottom that invites the guest to make one song request. You can then hand these to the DJ so they have time to create a playlist that everybody will enjoy!
The above 8 things will ensure that everybody has a fantastic time on your big day!
