In the spirit of Halloween we wanted to celebrate all those couples who will be getting married on their favorite Holiday! If you don’t plan on changing out of your tux and wedding dress here are a few ideas to help think of clever Halloween costumes to wear to your reception.
We all love zombies so why not add creepy make-up before or during the reception and turn your wedding into the Walking Dead!
If you love Disney princesses then this costume idea is perfect for you! Dress up as one of your favorite princess characters and have your bridesmaids pick theirs too, just make sure not to duplicate your bridesmaid costumes.
Does your groom love superheros? Then get everyone in on the action and have matching costumes for the bridesmaids and groomsmen. In the photo below I love that all the bridesmaids are still wearing different styles for their dresses, but all of the capes and shoes match. Here’s to crime fighting!!
The key to any good costume change on your wedding day is planning it out and complimenting the tux and dress. That way you can get good use out of the tux and dress investment.
I think my favorite idea by far is the masquerade ball idea. All of your guests could wear masks and your wedding reception design can be elegant and classic. Either way you can’t go wrong is you get into the idea of complimenting your wedding with a small Halloween theme, after all isn’t that what its all about 😉
