Wedding celebration is that wonderful time in a person’s life when joining another person in marriage is celebrated with all the possible love in the world! The friends, the family, the people in love… everyone gathers to officially rejoice for the lovers in marriage, and it’s always spectacular.
Weddings aren’t just the time to celebrate love, though. The unwritten rule of wedding gatherings is that everyone is supposed to look their best! Obviously, looking better than the bride and groom is strictly forbidden, but that doesn’t mean you can’t look amazing.
And usually, we often pay attention to womenswear even though menswear is usually just as chic! To give guys some justice, we’ve decided to explore men fashion in this blog and tackle upon men taste in fashion and its applicability to dressing for weddings.
Men are usually more casual in their choices and that’s okay. Apart from the (rented) tux and a bow tie there’s usually not much space for men to get all glammed up. However! this doesn’t mean they should look boring. There are plenty of ways men manage to work their clothes in fashion advantage, and here are some of the best examples we’ve caught so far.
There is probably nothing as chic as a man in custom jeans and a smart jacket on! Even though denim is usually frowned upon for weddings, there is always a way to spin it in such a way that it looks amazing. One of such examples is the one we’ve just mentioned – on a man, fitted jeans (although nothing too skinny) and a fitted jacket are a dream! The great thing is that, when a man wants to keep it simple and chic but still channel his personal style and wow everyone present, he can do it with an interesting pattern-shirt or a shirt of interesting color. Even a white shirt can do the trick if the hair and posture are in check!
For those on the edgier side, a denim jacket paired with linen trousers may look uber chic! However, don’t try it unless you are certain you can pull it off!
When you see a man with good accessorize on, you cannot help but stare a bit, right? Right. And that’s totally fine. A man wearing a quality watch (unless you are in need of attention, go for a silver instead of a golden watch), good shoes (loafers are definitely an option) and a bow tie (doesn’t have to be necessarily a bow tie, but a regular tie is a accessorize must) will do magic for your appearance. Throw in an amazing haircut, and there is no way all eyes won’t be on you. Hair sleek back or a sleek side parting are extremely chic for a gentleman. If you are one of those men with gorgeous tattoos on, don’t be afraid to flaunt them. Although, no matter how interesting they are, tattoos are still there to have you labeled as ‘outcast’ by many. To avoid being the talk of the wedding (in a negative way), find a way to merge your smart casual look with the gentleman vibe you are going for.
