In the social-media age we have to look photo ready everyday! These tricks will help you look flawless all the time and picture-perfect for your next selfie, wedding, boudoir or anytime a camera (or camera phone) is in your face.
- Primer– Always start with a primer to fill-in fine lines and fade imperfections the camera might catch.
- Don’t forget that neck– Make sure you apply makeup past the jawline because the camera may catch a color difference between the neck and face that you didn’t see in the mirror.
- Raccoon Eyes– I read recently on glamour.com you should mix under-eye concealer with a bit of foundation before applying. It helps prevent skin-brighting concealer from popping out and looking too white when a flash hits. Think of all those photos of celebrities with white under-eye mishaps!
- Frame your Face– Dust a sheer bronzer like Bobbi Brown Bronzing Powder around the perimeter to flatteringly shape your face and take focus off your forehead.
- Get some Power Powder– If you always have major T-zone shine and regular powder doesn’t cut it, try a blotting powder, like MAC Blot Powder–this stuff will be your new best friend.
- Brow Love– Brows bring out your bone structure in photos, so you should “stretch” them with a bit of pencil so they won’t disappear in photos.
- Liquid Liner– Liquid liner will define your eyes more in photos and will still look natural. Check out the Best Liquid Eyeliner Pen of 2016 for suggestions on which liquid liner is best for you.
- Brighten your Blush– You can go a little brighter is you make sure to blend around the edges and choose a blush that doesn’t have noticeable sparkles. It’s all about looking radiant and sculpting your cheekbones!
- Lip Liner– If you want lip definition try using lip liner on the upper V and outer corners.
- Relax and be happy! A smile will always make you feel better and brighten up your face and if you are looking for exclusive discounts and tips on makeup make sure you check-out Make-Up By Chelsea.
