I am all about thinking outside the box. I love when couples are creative when it comes to planning, designing, and style. I love the trend of save the date videos. Its more personal, and really creative.
When I came across this save the date, I fell in love. I can only imagine what Tim and Jane’s wedding will be like. They uploaded the video to Vimeo, which is a great eco-friendly idea. They also left a little note for their family at the bottom.
press play… from tim and jane on Vimeo.
Not really into videos? No worries. I am a HUGE emailer. I would rather text or email than sit on the phone or mail letters. When I heard of Paperless Post I fell in love and quickly signed up. Paperless Post allows you to send invitations, save the dates, or seasonal cards in a formal fashion over email. So, I went in and made up a mock save the date to show you the process. As you can see I am saving the date for my wedding to Justin Timberlake on Valentines Day… do you think Jessica Biel will mind? 🙂 Anyway, you can go in and pick your template and design something to fit your style and colors.
Then you get to pick your envelope that will deliver your invitation to everyone’s email box.
This is how your guests will receive your invitation, isn’t this the coolest thing?
Once they click on the invitation it opens up. Oh how my fake father Bob Dylan would be happy… 🙂
