Sometimes having a DIY wedding you might need a little help to pull it off. In Christina and Josh’s case they had a strong support system of family and friends who pulled together and made it one of the most memorable days of their lives.
Christina purchased her dress from Church Street Bridal in Lynchburg, VA, which helps raise funds for programs offered through the YWCA for women and children, particularly in domestic violence situations.
Christina and Josh decided to do a first look with Sarah of Ampersand Photography. If you can make this work its a MUST DO!
Make sure you or your wedding coordinator plan enough time for your romantic portraits so you can enjoy your day.
You can find personalized bottles like these at The Knot Wedding Shop.
One of my favorite details at weddings is a table full of wedding pictures of your family. What better way to celebrate a day of love then showing off all of the other couples in your life who have been married.
Another MUST DO is having homemade punch for your guests. Christina and Josh’s bridal party pulled together and helped get drinks to the wedding guests.
I loved the cheese and vegetable bar Champagne Taste Catering put together for the cocktail hour.
Today’s summer wedding was submitted by Sarah with Ampersand Photography via Two Bright Lights. You can check out more of Sarah’s work by visiting her blog and website!
