It started off when Melissa and a group of friends’ went out for a birthday celebration. Lots of dancing and laughing over the night. As the night was coming to an end, Melissa’s friend Mike said that he was waiting for a friend to show up and then we could go to our next place. All of sudden Mike was yelling for his friend, that had just walked in. Thats when Mike introduced me to JOSH! I didn’t think anything of it when we were introduced. My friends all seemed intrigued by him. Later on that night, Josh came back to talk to me! He was very handsome, tall, well groomed and very muscular!!!!! By the end of the evening, Josh and I had exchanged numbers. A couple days later, he asked me to lunch. On our first date, he took me to my favorite restaurant Abuelos, which we can now say is “OUR” favorite restaurant. We then went to play mini golf, which I kicked his butt in! Lastly, we went to the batting cage to show off some of my skills! We both enjoyed our time together and that was the start to our relationship.
We were on vacation in St. Louis June 16th, 2011. Our last thing to see was the ARCH!!! As we walked up to the Arch there were lots of firetrucks surrounding the north park. We had just figured that someone had heat exhaution and needed treatment. We proceeded downstairs to get our tickets for the tram. We were informed that the tram was under maintenance and were not able to go up in the arch. It was a bummer, but we made the best of the rest of the night 😉 We walked back to the hotel, and Josh told me that he wanted to show me this pretty fountain that he had seen earlier that day. We got there, and it was a fountain of dolphins. All surrounded by green grass and trees. I was taking a picture, and as I turned around…… He was on one knee with the box open. All I remember saying is ” Oh my gosh, Oh my gosh, Oh my gosh!” I dreamed of this moment since I was a little girl. Finding that someone that completes you. That brings out your quirks and can make you smile when you’re about to cry. I have never been happier and more blessed to be engaged to my best friend.
Oh, those save the dates are phenomenal! The cute! The pizazz! WANT! That said, I’d prefer invitations printed professionally – so that’s what I’d be ordering from Uprint. I hear they do great work!
