When I first looked at this submission from Julie Williams Photography I couldn’t help but think, “this is why I started this blog!” Ashley and David’s stunning portraits are a true representation of the Rocky Mountains and why I’m so in love with this beautiful region.
Here’s what Julie had to say about Ashley and David:
Ashely is Canadian. David is Scottish. They met in New Zealand, traveled the world together, bought a house together and eventually got married back here in Canada! The pair picked their favorite spot, Banff, for their intimate elopement. They invited a few very close friends and family members to join them in the Rockies for their wedding.
They hosted a low key ceremony in Banff’s Central Park down by the Bow River and then a nice dinner party at Murrieta’s in Canmore. They were so willing to climb around on the rocky slopes and on the rough shoreline of Lake Minnewanka for some pretty unique rocky mountain wedding photos.
