Real Alabama Bridal Session: Emma & Justin

From the bride: My path first intersected with Justin’s on Facebook, the virtual world where friends and interests collide. The connection online was strong enough that we decided to meet face-to-face at a mutually favorite haunt—the bookstore. After discovering that we had similar passions for literature, music, and Starbuck’s coffee, it wasn’t long before we were beginning to write a love story of our own. Our story began with a strong foundation, as all good stories do.

We were friends before we started dating. I’ll never forget Justin saying, “No matter what happens to us in the future, let’s always be friends.” It was at that point that I knew our bond was indestructible. And indeed, a year later, it is more solid than ever. We would rather ride our bikes than drive. A successful shopping trip is finding 50-cent books at a used bookstore and old vinyl albums at thrift stores. Justin and I both love folk music, and I play the fiddle to his guitar. We love staying up late into the night, writing and performing music together.

Our dream house would probably be in the country, with lots of acres, a garden, and some horses! Justin and I enjoy the simple things in life.
