From the bride: Being able to call Jackson my home is a privilege enough, but add the guy of my dreams, an amazing family, a great circle of friends and a dream wedding…a girl couldn’t ask for more. It all began when my (now husband) Alan sold me a pair of skis five years prior to our wedding. That was about all it took when I realized this guy had something special. He later proposed to me on his new drift boat (which we took out on a local lake for its maiden voyage) surrounded by our two dogs as witnesses. The rest is history.
From there we planned our amazing wedding which took place on the shores of Jackson Lake at the Chapel of the Sacred Heart in Grand Teton National Park. The reception followed at my parents ranch (Teton Valley Ranch) with the rustic backdrop of their old barn, horses in the pasture, a nearby pond and stream and of course, the beautiful Teton range. I truly couldn’t have asked for a more perfect backdrop to celebrate in! To make it really special, since I am a bit of a sweet freak, we also had a dessert bar and ice cream bar in addition to the wedding cake. I felt like a princess in a real fairytale. The whole day was a dream come true!
