From the bride: Once upon a time at Camp Yavapines in Prescott Arizona a boy and girl meet and sparks fly. (It was the summer of 1991 actually). Addresses are exchanged and they become pen pals and write letters back and forth until high school where they spent four years together as close friends. Graduation occurs and they depart on different paths but they meet up from time to time as the years pass. Their paths realign and that spark that was just a glimmer 20 years prior ignites into a firecracker and they eventually wed in Rimrock Arizona under a full moon sky.
Our wedding was planned with the help of our family and friends. Our officiant, John Anthony was chosen because he was a teacher while we were at camp and we felt he was the perfect person to marry us. We chose an enchanted outdoors venue filled with our favorite 50’s songs surrounded by our closest family and friends. Our love letter ceremony consisted of writing each other a letter prior to our wedding day, locking it in a keepsake box along with a bottle of wine to be opened on our 10 year anniversary.
