I haven’t had the chance to try any Paleo recipes since the Paleo diet got big. I did come across this great shot-glass dessert recipe and from the sound of it I know it will be perfect for any dessert table and the best part is you can make it in under 10 minutes!!
For those of you out there with microwave free homes you can easily make this stove-top until apples are soft, it will just take a little longer than 7 minutes to make.
Apple Crumb Paleo Mini Desserts

Ingredients:
Apple Filling
- 1 apple, peeled, cored, and sliced
- 1/2 lemon, juiced
- 1 tsp water
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
Crumb Topping
- 1/2 cup almond meal
- 1 tsp raw honey
- 1 tsp coconut oil
- dash sea salt
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- dairy-free whip cream
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Place chopped apples in a microwave safe bowl and add cinnamon, lemon, and water.
- Microwave for 1 minute.
- Mix and microwave for another 1 min.
- Mix and microwave for a remaining 30 seconds or until soft- set aside.
- In a bowl combine topping ingredients until crumbly.
- Place on baking tray and bake (in toaster oven or oven) for 5 minutes.
- Place apple filling in shot glasses and layer with crumb topping and top with whip cream.
